How It Works
MoreLess
Six steps from mint to weekly rewards. Every one of them driven by market facts, not by us.
Step 1
Mint
Claim one of 2,222 monitors, free, on OpenSea. Your unit is set the moment you mint.
Step 2
Get Assigned a Real Token
Your monitor is matched to one of the top 2,222 crypto tokens by market cap, and carries that token's record from then on.
Step 3
Boot Sequence
The reveal powers your screen on and types out your token's identity, character by character: name, symbol, ATH, ATL.
Step 4
Live Data
Every week the artwork's metadata is refreshed against the real market, so the figures on your screen are rewritten in place. If your token set a new record, your monitor shows it.
Step 5
The Weekly Scan
Three categories are checked every week, Monday to Monday in UTC: New ATH, New ATL, Rank Jump. Only tokens with real trading volume count, which keeps the results honest. Scanning starts the week after mint, so the weeks before the $SCAN launch are recorded and paid out too.
Step 6
Stake, Vote, Grow
Stake $SCAN for independent yield, vote in governance, or use your holdings for discounts on future drops.
The idea
Every Top Coin Gets a Screen
Crypto has a short memory. A token sits at rank #40 today, rank #400 in six months, and by next year almost nobody remembers the name. Records that once made headlines, an ATH everyone was talking about or an ATL that wiped out a project, disappear under the next wave of hype.
SCANLINES keeps the record.
2,222 generative terminal-monitors, each permanently linked to one of the top 2,222 crypto tokens by market cap. Every screen displays a real, verifiable fact: the token's name, symbol, its all-time high (with the exact date), and its all-time low (with the exact date). None of it is frozen. The data refreshes weekly against the real market, so your monitor stays as alive as the market itself.
It is not only an archive. Every week three things get recorded from real market events, never from anything we decide: which token just posted a New ATH, which one hit a New ATL, and which one made the biggest Rank Jump. Whoever holds that token's monitor gets rewarded. Rewards are paid in $SCAN, funded entirely by secondary-sale royalties from the collection. No team allocation, no market manipulation.
Each monitor sits on a scene straight out of an old computer room: a green-on-black screen, classic CRT scanlines, a keyboard and mouse close by.

The Weekly Scan
| Category | Definition |
|---|---|
| New ATH | New price record (among eligible tokens) |
| New ATL | New price low (among eligible tokens) |
| Rank Jump | Biggest rank change (among eligible tokens) |
All three need a minimum 24h volume or rank to qualify, which keeps out noise and manipulation.
Relic state
If a token falls out of the top 2,222, its monitor enters a “Relic” visual state. The record it carries stays on screen. That is the point of the collection.
